Fluorosilicone (FVMQ;FK):
Fluorosilicones have good fluid resistance in addition to several silicone rubber properties. However, the resistance against ketones and aliphatic phosphate fluids are not as good. Mixing with dimethyl silicon may improve resistance against these types of fluids.
Fluid resistance is not as strong compared to PTFE (especially to fluids that contain aromatic materials). However, fluorosilicone materials are the primary choice when low temperature flexibility and fluid resistance are required. Average performance for electrical resistance, low compression deformation, high ozone resistance and weathering resistance. Fluorosilicones are expensive, special purpose materials that are mainly used as sealant strips, membranes, O-rings, inner-lining of containers, and electrical safety shoes.
※ We welcome orders of O-rings of various dimensions or other customized specifications.
